Currently working on strategic vision for a next-generation responsive web platform launching in 2025. Led moderated and unmoderated usability testing to deliver data-driven UX solutions aligned with user and needs, technical feasibility, and business goals. Collaborated across UX, research, accessibility, copywriting, business, engineering, QA, design systems, legal, analytics, and financial advisors to ensure a seamless experience. Introduced a template system that streamlined design deliverables and ensured consistency across the platform while reducing tremendous amount of time spent on specs.
Senior UX Designer, New York, NY | 2019 – 2023
Drove UX strategy for responsive web experiences in retirement planning for Morgan Stanley Online and E*TRADE, driving design direction from research to implementation across two squads. Improved workflows, onboarding, and design systems, while advocating for UX and supporting Senior/VP hiring. Collaborated across US and India in an agile environment, becoming highly versed in retirement contributions and financial advisor systems. Managed an Accessibility Hackathon team, facilitated UX workshops with members comprised of UX, engineering, and business to produce concepts which led to a global 3rd-place finish. Piloted a new workflow system which formalized accessibility and design systems review across UX, reducing firm-wide risk while adhering to compliance. Spearheaded the team’s transition from Sketch to Figma in a few months, while learning the new tool, balancing tight project deadlines, and helping teammates across various squads get up to speed with Figma and optimizing their workflows.

Led UX workshops 2–3 times a month on-site in Boston, MA. Collaborated with Sr. Product Designer and Sr. Visual Designer (NYC), UXR, development, product management, and copywriter (across MA). Spearheaded concepts, combined existing retirement and insurance content for the new iOS and Android mobile apps released to Google Play and App Store in 2020. Also provided conceptual solutions for the web-based, consumer retirement product, Strategic Participant Portal.

Senior Product Designer, New York, NY | 2014 – 2018
Piloted the redesign of the navigation experience for iOS and Android mobile apps, which received strong, positive reviews on Google Play and App Store, and was later translated across various devices and platforms. Led UX activities, provided concepts/wireframes, prototypes, specs, internal documentation, conducted mobile audit, competitive research, user assurance testing. Consistently delivered UX work to Google Play and App Store each month. Provided UX guidance for junior designers.

Resolved a 6–month old interface design issue in 2 days. Contributed UI concepts for the new company website. Conducted market research, provided icons, created wireframes, designed visual marketing materials and coded for email communications for over 32,000 customers in North America and Europe, set record of 62% click-through rate (CTR) from 5%.

Conceptualized and forecasted image branding for three Chevrolet 2012 concept vehicles and presented to top–level executives regularly. One large–scale graphic piece was personally selected by the Vice President of GM to be displayed in his office.

Redesigned the feedback experience on the Morgan Stanley website, ensuring that all users, regardless of disability, can easily share challenges encountered. Led a team with business, dev, and UX, and presented concept to the firm.
